About the position

The Self Storage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a self-storage facility, ensuring excellent customer service, financial management, and maintenance of the premises. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to meet sales goals while managing inventory and providing a clean and safe environment for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
  • Maintain facilities - sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
  • Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members.
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or sales roles.
  • Ability to manage store operations effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Basic maintenance skills for facility upkeep.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail or property management.
