About the position

The Facility Manager will oversee operations at an electrical manufacturing facility in Foxborough, MA, ensuring the delivery of facilities services in line with established policies and procedures. This role involves managing a small team, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and driving initiatives for cost reduction and productivity improvement. The position is initially temporary due to an employee's leave but may lead to a long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of facilities services to the assigned portfolio according to policies and procedures.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for the local client across the assigned region.
• Ensure vendors meet service delivery standards and manage scope changes.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and risk management policies.
• Support account-wide initiatives such as compliance reviews and audits.
• Drive initiatives for benchmarking, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Accountable for the delivery of moves, adds, and changes, and support client projects.
• Support the execution of small construction projects.

Requirements

• Experience as a Facility Manager in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to manage a team and oversee operations in a large facility.
