About the position

The Facility Manager at Socceroof is responsible for overseeing all operations and driving commercial activities, including partnerships and customer relationships. This role involves leading staff to maintain high customer service standards and ensuring operational efficiency to optimize business results. The Facility Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager and plays a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations, human resources, sales, marketing, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and legal standards.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements for the facility.
  • Address client claims and suggestions with tailored solutions.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with staff to promote teamwork and best practices.
  • Manage and coach a team, providing guidance and support.
  • Recruit, train, and conduct annual reviews for new employees.
  • Implement strategies to enhance team performance and customer service.
  • Coordinate employee schedules and ensure timely invoice payments.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and encourage professional development.
  • Identify new business opportunities and enhance commercial activities.
  • Monitor market trends and analyze performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop revenue growth strategies.
  • Supervise facility events to ensure high service and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Manage facility expenses and maintain financial reports.

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
