About the position

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the security, maintenance, and housekeeping functions of the Retail Support Center. This role ensures the safety and security of the facility and its assets, while also managing various projects related to building maintenance and sustainability initiatives. The Facility Manager plays a crucial role in developing security procedures, managing emergency plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee security standards, policies, and procedures to ensure safety and security of the facility and assets.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate projects and maintenance of all buildings, equipment, and Ace property.
  • Supervise loss prevention, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel.
  • Analyze and evaluate security operations and identify potential security breaches.
  • Develop and recommend security procedures for operations and access control.
  • Manage receipt of all capital purchases and oversee sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead safety awareness, training, and practices within the facility.
  • Maintain accurate OSHA record keeping and reporting.
  • Assist in emergency management and disaster plans in conjunction with corporate Loss Prevention.
  • Advise management on adherence to Ace contract policies and negotiate services with vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
