About the position

The Facility & Membership Coordinator at the Duke Center for Living is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, particularly the pool and hot tub, while providing excellent membership services to residents and guests. This role involves managing maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with health standards, and handling administrative duties related to membership and billing.

Responsibilities

  • Submit and follow up on general maintenance of the facility.
  • Serve as the primary Certified Pool Operator (CPO) overseeing pool and hot tub operations.
  • Ensure pool and hot tub temperature and chemistry balance, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Prepare pools for inspections and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Process work orders and track follow-ups.
  • Handle daily accounting, deposits, and monthly billing.
  • Assist Membership Manager with reporting and market outreach.
  • Oversee front desk operations and manage membership issues.
  • Enhance the Resident Experience through various duties.

Requirements

  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and cash transactions.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • CPO certification within 90 days of hire.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support and AED certification required.
