About the position

The Facility Nurse at The PHOENIX Center is responsible for overseeing and providing comprehensive care and preventive medicine for residents. This role includes maintaining medical records, conducting intake assessments, and assisting medical providers as necessary. The Facility Nurse ensures compliance with healthcare standards and coordinates with various departments to meet the medical needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide care and preventive medicine for TPC residents.
• Maintain all medical records and conduct intake assessments.
• Assist the medical provider with resident and staff medical care.
• Ensure compliance with all ACA, PREA, and departmental CBCF and BCS standards.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager for all projects and medical needs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure functionality.
• Ensure timely provision and verification of resident medications.
• Review resident MAR for compliance with medical orders.
• Conduct periodic walkthroughs of the facility for compliance and cleanliness.
• Provide guidance and corrective actions to TPC residents.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, inspectors, and outside entities.

Requirements

• Certification and valid nursing license required.
• A strong background with two years in the field of medicine is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
