About the position

The Facility Operations Analyst / General Maintenance role involves performing general maintenance and repair tasks for equipment and buildings. This position requires practical skills in various trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work, although proficiency is not mandatory. The role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of facilities at Fort Liberty, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.
  • Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
  • Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
  • Paint structures and equipment as needed.
  • Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
  • Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
  • Hang doors and install door locks.
  • Replace broken window panes.
  • Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Requirements

  • Practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
