About the position

The Facility Operations Manager at Adecco is responsible for overseeing the operations of warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment services. This role emphasizes maintaining high levels of accuracy and integrity in service delivery while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for associates. The manager will focus on customer service, quality assurance, cost control, and safety compliance, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assure complete and on-time attainment of services delivery schedules.
  • Assure daily communication, coordination, and collaboration with designated primary and secondary points of contact.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Assure attainment of general operating plan revenue generation.
  • Control work in progress, throughput times, and inventory levels as applicable.
  • Conduct weekly SLA/KPI performance and continuous improvement progress review meetings with leadership.
  • Implement effective systems to ensure executional accuracy and output specifications meet or exceed requirements.
  • Perform random in-process and end-item sampling and inspection as required.
  • Collect, analyze, and track QA data relative to key conformance data at the associate and operational levels.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in all areas of total cost.
  • Assure labor utilization efficiency of 100% or higher and control operating overtime.
  • Support the introduction of new technology, methods, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, ergonomic, and risk management regulations and policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and facility inspections, recording findings and communicating them to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all accidents and incidents are recorded and investigated, with corrective actions implemented.
  • Provide thorough safety training for all associates and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of direct warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and/or related experience in a supervisory and/or management role.
  • 5 or more years of direct leadership experience of a team of 20 or more associates.
  • A demonstrated progression of professional development and achievement.
  • Ability to build and sustain effective teams.
  • A record of consistent KPI, goals, and objectives attainment.
  • Proven capability to work collaboratively as part of the senior operational leadership team.
  • Strong focus on workforce safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Lean Six Sigma practitioner - green or black belt preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience in business management, engineering, or statistics.
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. for sustained periods of up to 10 hours.
