About the position

We are seeking an experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at our facility in Cherry Hill, NJ. The ideal candidate must have healthcare, behavioral health, and/or Joint Commission compliance experience. Every facility in the Advanced Recovery Systems network strives to provide the highest quality of care, using evidence-based therapeutic models that really work. The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper (RVCH) continues our organization's renowned approach to addiction recovery, which combines evidence-based treatment with holistic programming that promotes wellness in body and mind. Our 90-bed, 55,000-square-foot facility offers a full continuum of care, ranging from the initial detox process to the aftercare services provided when treatment ends. Clients also participate in our Weekly Recovery Compass program, which helps to directly identify, monitor, and address potential setbacks that can be counterproductive to recovery. RVCH is located in the heart of Cherry Hill, NJ, near the Delaware River. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, secure, clean, well-kept, healthy, and adequately supplied environment for patients and staff.
  • Ensure that all facilities and equipment are maintained properly and that the overall facilities aesthetics are consistent with design specifications.
  • Actively conserve physical assets of the facility.
  • Review and promptly respond to reports and recommendations from planning, regulating, and inspecting agencies.
  • Provide for facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and monitor the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility.
  • Supervise and monitor the upkeep of all existing offices and patient and staff areas.
  • Conduct fire drills and maintain fire prevention equipment, including smoke detectors, exit signs, fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and exit maps.
  • Monitor and report all contractor and vendor progress as assigned by the Operations Director.
  • Assist in maintaining department budgetary guidelines and monitor expenditures in areas of equipment and materials.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance professional skills and growth.
  • Attend in-service training and participate in other educational activities as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of professional experience in facility operations, including evidence of training in repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility cleaning.
  • Experience leading a facility's physical plant conservation team.
  • Experience managing staff, preferably in housekeeping and kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of Life Safety & Environment of Care Standards.
  • Experience with Work Order/CMMS Software preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, accreditation standards, and license requirements for the jurisdiction.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
  • Experience in behavioral health facilities.
