About the position

The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for both patients and staff. This role involves compliance with regulations, supervision of repairs and maintenance, and collaboration with the facility leadership team to enhance operational success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and adequately supplied environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
• Maintain overall facility aesthetics consistent with design specifications.
• Conserve physical assets of the facility.
• Respond to reports and recommendations from planning, regulating, and inspecting agencies.
• Ensure facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervise and monitor day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility.
• Conduct fire drills and maintain fire prevention equipment.
• Monitor and report contractor and vendor progress as assigned by the Site CEO.
• Assist in maintaining department budgetary guidelines and monitor expenditures.
• Participate in training and development to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of professional experience in facility management or related fields, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Training in repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility cleaning.
• Experience leading a facility's physical plant conservation team.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and accreditation standards.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Work Order/CMMS Software.
• Experience managing staff, preferably in housekeeping and kitchen operations.
