About the position

The Facilities Operations Specialist will serve in the Naval Base Coronado Public Works Department, responsible for overseeing facility operations, ensuring timely completion of assignments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role involves monitoring services and expenditures, facilitating work execution, and advising on supported command projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and attend meetings and site visits to identify facility issues.
• Facilitate work execution and advise on supported command projects.
• Perform work monitoring to ensure facilities assignments are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure MAXIMO reflects an accurate inventory for assigned buildings.
• Monitor services and expenditures to ensure proper availability of funds.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to prioritize and initiate projects for maintenance action plans.
