About the position

The position at JLL focuses on the execution of small-scale capital infrastructure projects in support of the Client's Facility Management break/fix program. The role involves managing project teams, ensuring compliance with policies, and overseeing project financials while delivering services to operate and maintain regional properties. The position requires strong client engagement and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams consisting of contractors, property management, and client representatives.
  • Manage contractors/vendors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Define scope of work for projects and manage quotes from vendors.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Manage the capital approval submission process and project financials.
  • Align project delivery requirements with contractors/vendors.
  • Financially close and turn over all work associated with the project.
  • Manage multiple projects at various phases and locations.
  • Support regional management of monthly cash flow forecast projections.
  • Maintain accurate records of project financials throughout its lifecycle.
  • Ensure the use of JLL technology for assigned projects.
  • Support work order management for internal IFM and vendors.
  • Provide routine project updates through management tools.
  • Enforce company policies regarding safe and efficient operations.
  • Implement and monitor hazard control and safety practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of related experience in Facility Management and/or Project Management.
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations.
  • Firm knowledge of facility operating systems and facility management principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with executive-level clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction and commercial real estate industry.
