About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of facility management are executed efficiently, contributing to a safe and productive environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage repair work for all facilities.
• Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services such as cleaning, landscaping, and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.
• Prepare reports on facility conditions, maintenance needs, and project progress.
• Collaborate with project teams on construction management tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid, Prolog, Primavera, ProCore for project coordination and reporting.
• Assist in construction estimating by reviewing blueprints and schematics to provide accurate assessments of project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and management practices is essential.
• Familiarity with project coordination tools such as HeavyBid, Prolog, Primavera, and ProCore is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to facility layouts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
