About the position

The Facility Risk Manager (FRM) at Sierra Vista Hospital is responsible for protecting the hospital's assets from loss and coordinating loss control efforts. This role involves advising management on potential sources of loss and making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The FRM oversees the facility-wide Risk Management Program and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies, including The Joint Commission and the California Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loss control efforts and advise management on potential sources of loss.
• Make recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure to risks.
• Oversee and monitor the facility-wide Risk Management Program.
• Assist in the Regulatory Compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and standards of The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in improving organizational performance within an inpatient psychiatric setting.
• One year of management experience.
