About the position

The Facility Services Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various environments, including hospitals, gaming areas, and office spaces. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring that all assigned areas are kept clean and safe for both employees and guests. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations and involves a variety of cleaning tasks to support the overall functionality of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provides first class customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Partners with internal and external services to ensure appropriate referrals are made.
  • Greets and engages with customers positively.
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities.
  • Works collaboratively to support productivity and safety in the work area.
  • Maintains general upkeep of the work area and ensures a safe environment.
  • Adheres to the Chickasaw Nation dress code standards.
  • Cleans assigned areas including floors, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Disposes of trash and cleans exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks.
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, and policies for assigned areas.
  • Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent credentials required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to adhere to scheduling and attendance requirements.
  • Honesty, reliability, and accountability are essential traits.
  • Ability to read and understand regulations and policies.
  • Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Ability to communicate professionally and positively with team members and guests.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in training and development is preferred but not mandatory.
