About the position
The Facility Services Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health of individuals entering the facility by administering temperature and questionnaire screenings. This position requires compliance with safety protocols and guidelines set by the facility and the CDC, under the direct supervision of the Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Greets all employees, visitors/guests in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
- Administers temperature and questionnaire screenings using approved policies and procedures.
- Notifies management of all failed screens.
- Facilitates proper identification to individuals cleared to enter the facility.
- Documents all necessary information and adheres to all confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
- Ensures all individuals entering the facility are wearing a proper face covering and are adhering to the social distancing guidelines.
- Ensures all deliveries are made following proper procedure.
- Utilizes proper personal protective equipment (PPE) issued by the facility when deemed necessary by administration.
- Cleans and disinfects all high touch areas and equipment used in the screening area.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must complete all required training.
- Must comply with all safety precautions according to facility and CDC guidelines.
