About the position

The Facility Services Senior Manager at BP Americas, Inc. is responsible for overseeing a large team to align departmental goals with the strategic plan, manage facilities, and ensure the reliability of retail assets. This role involves developing asset management strategies, ensuring compliance with maintenance and regulatory processes, and delivering safe operations while optimizing performance through effective resource allocation and team management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large team to lead and align department goals with the strategic plan.
• Oversee maintenance and regulatory compliance for all retail sites, bakery, warehouse, and SSC.
• Develop key performance indicators and monitor business performance through periodic reviews.
• Ensure safe and reliable operations while managing risks associated with retail asset management activities.
• Develop and maintain Life Cycle Systems for key facility assets.
• Build retail asset management capability within the team and drive appropriate behaviors for success.
• Engage in regular constructive dialogue with team members for performance and career development.
• Manage Facility Services vendor contracts and contractor management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical subject.
• 10 to 15 years of management experience in building maintenance and/or convenience store equipment operations.
• Experience managing third-party contracts is required.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Great stakeholder management skills and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical training certification is a plus.
• Operations experience is a plus.
