About the position

The Facility Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing sales and business operations within a designated client service area. This role involves providing field support, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with service standards, and driving client retention and satisfaction. The manager will also be involved in negotiating contracts, training staff, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention and expansion.
  • Formulate and manage effective sales and service strategies tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing and logistics.
  • Manage Independent Contractor relationships, including hiring, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of client sites to ensure high standards of service.
  • Supervise Night Managers, including routing, time card verification, and performance reviews.
  • Communicate client issues with Contractors and the Director of Operations, addressing problems promptly.
  • Utilize City Wide's CRM for client inspections and service management.
  • Schedule non-routine activities in client facilities using Outlook.
  • Maintain updated documentation for each client, including Building Information Sheets and MSDS sheets.
  • Assist Accounting in collecting past due invoices and payments for Contractors.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales and management experience in building maintenance or facility management.
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
  • Reliable transportation.
