About the position

The Factory Applications Engineer at Teradyne will manage a team of High Speed Memory ATE Applications Engineers, providing both pre- and post-sales technical support to customers. This role involves creating and presenting technical demonstrations, as well as supporting engineering and marketing efforts. The position is based in San Jose, CA, and requires a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of High Speed Memory ATE Applications Engineers
• Pre- and Post-Sales Customer technical support
• Technical demonstration creation, documentation, and presentation
• Technical / Marketing support for Engineering

Requirements

• 20+ years of Flash and high speed DRAM Memory semiconductor test experience
• Ability and willingness to take responsibility for leading a highly skilled team of engineers
• Strong English & technical communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in C / C++ programming
• Ability to 'think on your feet' and use a 'problem solving mindset'
• Be local to San Jose, CA area
• Willingness to travel, domestically / internationally, sometimes on very short notice
