About the position
We're looking for a full-time Product Manager to evaluate Industrial applications, provide product solutions and strive to foster a strong relationship with our Vendor Partners in safety and sensor.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and sales support in safety and sensors
- Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts
- Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year
- Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications in safety and sensors
- Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market
- Provide training to sales staff relative to applications and products in safety and sensors
- Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in safety and sensor
- 5 years industry experience in safety and sensor
- Ability to select Safety scanners, detective sensors, distance sensors, machine vision and Motion control sensors for various Industrial Automation applications
- Self-motivation
- Excellent customer relations/sales skills
- Industrial application problem solving capabilities
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions
- Mechanically inclined mindset
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
