About the position

We are looking for a Factory Controller to join our Packaging Material Business control team at our factory in Sikeston, Missouri. This role is crucial as it involves driving performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and planning, monitoring, and delivering on the financial targets of the factory and PM Supply. The Factory Controller will be an integral part of the Sikeston factory management team and will report directly to the Business Control Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for reporting and analyzing supply chain KPIs for both actual and budgeted figures. You will also analyze, provide forecasts, and input budgets while supporting the Central Pricing & Costing unit in product costing. Additionally, you will build, prepare, and perform follow-ups on business cases, including initial assumptions, benefit simulations, and case preparation, as well as follow up on the realization of investments and other cases. As a leader in the local cost pillar, you will support the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) culture within the factory and ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures, driving internal control monitoring. Moreover, you will coach, advise, or train the factory team, acting as their Finance Business Partner and supporting various areas within the factory. This role is ideal for individuals with an engineering background who are interested in applying their skills in a finance context. Tetra Pak does not sponsor work visas or relocation for this position, so candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Report and analyze supply chain KPIs for actual and budget.
  • Analyze, provide forecast and budget input, and support Central Pricing & Costing unit in product costing.
  • Build, prepare, and perform follow-up of business cases on investments and other cases.
  • Lead local cost pillar and support the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) culture in the factory.
  • Ensure compliance to corporate governance policies & procedures and drive internal control monitoring.
  • Coach, advise or train factory team and support various areas as their Finance Business Partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferably a master's degree (MA, MBA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant Business Controlling experience or experience in a Manufacturing plant or factory in the engineering area, with knowledge and understanding of relevant production KPIs.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Factory / World Class Manufacturing / Total Production Management (TPM) knowledge and experience are considered a strong plus.
  • Power BI experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree (MA, MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a Manufacturing plant or factory in the engineering area.
  • Knowledge of Factory / World Class Manufacturing / Total Production Management (TPM).
  • Experience with Power BI.
