About the position
The Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Supply Chain Management beginning Fall 2025. The department is looking for candidates who will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels and have expertise in Business Analytics, Technology Management, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and/or related subject matter. The responsibilities would include teaching, research, and service.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics, Technology Management, Information Systems, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Conduct research in the fields of information systems and business analytics.
- Participate in service activities within the department and university.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field (ABDs with a plan to complete their Ph.D. before the start date will also be considered).
- Previous teaching and/or research experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, business intelligence, predictive modeling, human-computer interactions, user experience, database management, systems administration, or application development.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience in programming languages.
- Experience with information systems and/or business analytics in healthcare and/or sports settings.
