• Develops and uses a syllabus for each course or laboratory according to guidelines.
• Plans and utilizes diverse teaching methods and materials to assist students in meeting course objectives.
• Evaluates student progress and communicates results in a timely manner.
• Submits required college reports and forms.
• Reviews and recommends student learning materials.
• Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Provides access to students through office hours and electronic communication.
• Engages in professional development and institutional service as determined with the Dean.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science or information technology.
• 3 years of non-teaching work experience in the field or industry certifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Current industry certifications in network security and/or cybersecurity, such as CCNP, Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
• Background in cybersecurity and network security.
