About the position
The FAI Quality Analyst will be responsible for reviewing First Article Inspection (FAI) packages per AS9102 and client requirements, providing review results, and approving reports on behalf of our client. Additional responsibilities include executing transactions with minimal direction, conducting thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure, and acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for complex processes. The analyst will also be responsible for workflow coordination when required, training and guiding new joiners with the standardized process, and conducting metrics tracking on a continual basis to meet the increasing FAI load throughout the year. Furthermore, the role involves providing performance metrics to support necessary process improvements, collaborating with the team lead to conduct and drive effective problem solving and process enhancements, and documenting all new learnings or changes in processes in the standard format while seeking relevant approvals on a periodic basis. The analyst may also create training and guidance on process changes and provide these to the rest of the team impacted, serve as a technical and functional resource or super user to other team members, create trend analysis and scorecards to ensure quality standards are met, propose immediate action plans to address quality issues, and act as a point of contact for procedure updates.
Responsibilities
- Review First Article Inspection (FAI) packages per AS9102 and client requirements.
- Provide review results and approve reports on behalf of the client.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of First Article Inspection experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Engineering degree
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
- Understanding of AS9102 standard
- Technical Drawings proficiency
- Proficiency in Supplier Performance Management (PM) within manufacturing operations.
