About the position
The FAI Quality Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing and delivering First Article Inspection (FAI) package reviews as per AS9102 and client requirements. Additional responsibilities include tracking metrics on a daily and weekly basis to status progress on the FAI package workload, working closely with the client FAI team to address questions, submit drawing findings, and accurately structure FAI packages. The role also involves performing process quality document assessments for verification of First Article Inspection (FAI) assessments per AS9102 for verification of customer requirements, workflow coordination, and conducting metrics tracking on a continual basis to meet the increasing FAI load throughout the year. The analyst will maintain client metrics reporting tools updated, conduct thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure, and provide performance metrics to support necessary process improvements. Collaboration with the team lead to conduct and drive effective problem solving is essential, as well as updating and maintaining various systems/tools per standard process documentation. The analyst will audit their own data entry for accuracy, respond to client requests for information, and participate in process improvement initiatives or special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with the client FAI team to address questions and submit drawing findings.
- Accurately structure FAI packages.
- Perform process quality document assessments for verification of FAI assessments per AS9102.
- Coordinate workflow.
- Conduct metrics tracking to meet the increasing FAI load throughout the year.
- Maintain client metrics reporting tools updated.
- Conduct thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure and provide performance metrics for process improvements.

- Update and maintain various systems/tools per standard process documentation.
- Audit own data entry for accuracy and make required corrections.
- Respond to client requests for information and escalate to lead as appropriate.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of First Article Inspection experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Engineering degree
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
- Understanding of AS9102 standard
- Technical Drawings proficiency
- Proficiency in Supplier Performance Management (PM) within manufacturing operations.
