About the position
We are seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer at our office in Milpitas, CA. The role involves conducting failure analysis on customer and internal FAs, performing bench/CT electrical tests for both Discrete and IC products, and being responsible for root cause analysis. The engineer will interface with Design/Product Engineering/Reliability on FA issues and publish FA reports in a timely manner.

- Perform bench/CT electrical test for both Discrete and IC products.
- Responsible for root cause analysis.
- Interface with Design/Product Engineering/Reliability on FA issues.
- Publish FA reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum is a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/physics/material science engineering. Master's degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of FA/Product Engineering or related experience.
- Familiar with curve trace and bench testing on ICs.
- Familiar with FA techniques such as EMMI, Laser Scan, Thermal, X-ray, SEM, EDX, and device deprocessing.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with both Digital and Analog circuits.
