Fair Barn Facility Crew (Part TIme)

About the position

The Fair Barn Facility Crew position is a part-time role focused on setting up and breaking down events at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, NC. The job requires flexibility in scheduling, as hours are event-driven and may include weekends, evenings, and holidays. The employee will work independently or as part of a team to ensure events are prepared and executed smoothly, maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, break-down, and store tables and chairs, stage and event equipment before and after scheduled events.
• Arrange set-up for events precisely as directed verbally or by written diagram.
• Maintain storage of tables, chairs, and other event materials and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
• Report any damaged or faulty equipment to the supervisor.
• Resolve customer complaints with input from the Fair Barn Coordinator as needed.
• Perform other assignments and special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift chairs, tables, and stage weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Stamina and manual dexterity to work consistently for 3-4 hours with or without scheduled break time.
• High level of customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional education and/or experience in the hospitality or events industry is preferred.
