About the position

The position requires adherence to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines. The individual will perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization. Additional duties may be required, and all job functions must be completed as per departmental policies and procedures. The role involves maintaining current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending ongoing educational programs. Attendance at staff meetings and completion of mandatory in-services and competency evaluations on time is expected. The individual must demonstrate competency in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, training in age-specific customer service skills is required. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as appropriate.

Requirements

  • 2 year / Associate Degree in Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
  • 1 - 2 years healthcare environment experience (Required)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Georgia license
