About The Position
The Food Tent Attendant at Peek'n Peak is a seasonal position that plays a crucial role during the Fall Fest event. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, the attendant is responsible for preparing food and conducting transactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to guest satisfaction and the ability to perform job duties quickly, accurately, and consistently while working as part of a team. The attendant will be involved in various tasks, including operating cash registers, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The position demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. As a Food Tent Attendant, you will be expected to operate a cash register or POS system, ensuring accurate sales transactions and maintaining knowledge of resort policies regarding payments and exchanges. In the cooking capacity, you will prepare menu items according to resort specifications, using various cooking techniques and equipment. This includes weighing and mixing ingredients, operating large volume cooking equipment, and ensuring food is cooked and stored at the correct temperatures. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas and ensuring the freshness of food and ingredients. In addition to food preparation and cashier duties, the attendant will welcome guests, provide information about the resort and event, and monitor for any suspicious activities. The role requires adherence to safety rules and company policies, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions, as most duties will be performed outdoors.
