Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes data for the purpose of solving problems & making recommendations on matters that are important to the cost structure of the manufacturing operation.
  • Determines production bottlenecks, crewing needs, & other parameters necessary in maintaining routings within SAP/MiniMIINT.
  • Interprets data from a host of sources and creates concise and user-friendly charts, graphs, reports, and other modes of conveying information to diverse audiences.
  • Has responsibility for the attainment of team objectives which are usually translatable into financial measures.
  • Assists with the daily production reconciliation and reporting functions as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in problem solving using Lean/Six Sigma & other specialized tools.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Critical Path Analysis, etc.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a user-friendly manner.
  • Experience in financial responsibility and documentation of financial goals.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in teaching and mentoring others in problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Engineering curricula and tools such as work sampling, flowcharting, methods analysis.
