About the position
The Fall Preschool Soccer Coach at A Step Ahead Soccer is a part-time, seasonal role focused on delivering an interactive, adventure-based soccer program for preschool-aged children. The coach will lead engaging activities that promote physical fitness, social skills, and school readiness, all while ensuring a fun and educational experience for kids aged 2 to 5. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead interactive soccer-based activities for preschool children.
- Manage groups of kids aged 2 to 5 during sessions.
- Implement storytelling techniques to enhance learning and engagement.
- Encourage physical activity and social development through play.
- Prepare children for kindergarten readiness through soccer skills and activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool-age children.
- Basic knowledge of sports coaching or physical education.
- Ability to manage and engage young children effectively.
- Must have a cell phone and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Soccer experience is a bonus but not required.
- Infant & Toddler Certification.
- Child Development knowledge.
