About the position

The Family and Community Health Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering educational programs related to nutrition, public health, and community engagement. This role emphasizes collaboration with diverse audiences and requires strong leadership and communication skills to promote health and wellness initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver educational programs for diverse audiences.
  • Manage program operations and ensure effective implementation.
  • Supervise and lead volunteers and team members in program activities.
  • Provide service to the university and extension services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Family and Consumer Sciences, Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, teaching, and evaluating educational programs.
  • General proficiency with computers and professional office software.
  • Interest in food preservation and food safety.
  • Ability to communicate inclusively with diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to collaborative and respectful working environments.
