About the position
Moore Family Law Group is seeking an experienced attorney with a strong background in family law to join their entrepreneurial law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and will be responsible for providing outstanding representation to clients. This role involves managing cases, consulting with clients, and collaborating with paralegals to ensure seamless case management. The firm values team players who can take ownership of their cases and demonstrate strong legal skills.
Responsibilities
- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed
- Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience as a lawyer in family law
- Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially in high-stress situations
- 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using Clio on a Mac
- Strong skills in research, writing, courtroom presentation, and common technology
