Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
  • Assist in the preparation of exhibits and evidence for court proceedings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in family law.
  • Strong understanding of family law procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with case management software.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and databases.
  • Certification from a recognized paralegal program.
