Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Family Law (Litigation) paralegal with a minimum of six (6) years of experience for the Greensboro office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the litigation process in family law cases. This role requires a strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and clients, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and filed in a timely manner. The position demands a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, as the paralegal will be privy to sensitive information regarding clients' personal and financial matters. The paralegal will be involved in preparing and responding to discovery requests, which includes document requests, document productions, interrogatories, requests for admissions, subpoenas, and deposition notices. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and analyzing discovery responses and documents produced, as well as preparing meet and confer letters regarding discovery issues. The paralegal will also be responsible for preparing various legal documents, including assets and debts schedules, income and expense declarations, and preliminary and final declarations of disclosure. In addition to document preparation, the paralegal will prepare exhibits, exhibit lists, and witness lists for motions, hearings, and trials. They will serve as a liaison between the client and attorney, conducting client interviews and interfacing with custodians of records and deposition officers. The paralegal will also assist in preparing hearing and trial notebooks and will provide support during trials, including the preparation of evidentiary motions to strike. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing demands.
