About the position

Valley Health System is seeking Family Medicine Advance Practice Providers for full-time opportunities in Berryville, VA, and Luray, VA. This position is ideal for those looking to work in a supportive and community-focused environment without the demands of weekend or holiday shifts. As part of a regional non-profit organization that encompasses six hospitals, you will be joining a team dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to the Shenandoah Valley community, which boasts a population of approximately 250,000. The area is known for its safe, family-oriented communities and offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities, including live theater, musicals, museums, and four-season resorts, all within close proximity to Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our community. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients in a meaningful way, providing preventive care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions. Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients in a family medicine setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage with patients to provide preventive care and manage chronic conditions.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Advance Practice Provider in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a community health setting.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
