About The Position

The Epileptologist / Epilepsy Section Head at Endeavor Health will lead the Epilepsy Program within the Department of Neurology, focusing on advanced evaluation and treatment for patients with seizure disorders. This role involves overseeing a dedicated team, contributing to the advancement of epilepsy care, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier services in a community-connected health system.

Requirements

• Medical license or license eligible in the state of Illinois.
• Completion of a one or two-year Epilepsy Fellowship (two-year preferred).
• Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology.
• 5 or more years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, care goals, and development of the Epilepsy/EEG Section.
• Utilize advanced neurophysiology labs for comprehensive individualized monitoring.
• Offer intra-operative monitoring services during epilepsy surgeries.
• Join a multidisciplinary team and robust referral base of medical professionals.
• Participate in clinical research as desired.
• Train future neurologists with an academic appointment from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
