This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician to take over an established practice in Waynesville, North Carolina. The position is hospital-employed through Haywood Medical Center, which is part of Duke LifePoint Healthcare. The practice is outpatient only, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The clinic is known for its busy patient panel, with an average of 20-25 patients seen per day, catering to all ages. The position also includes supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with a monthly stipend. Responsibilities

  • Take over an established patient panel in Waynesville, NC.

  • Participate in mentorship opportunities within the clinic.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
  • Active medical license in North Carolina or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience in a primary care setting is preferred.
