About the position
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician to take over an established practice in Waynesville, North Carolina. The position is hospital-employed through Haywood Medical Center, which is part of Duke LifePoint Healthcare. The practice is outpatient only, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The clinic is known for its busy patient panel, with an average of 20-25 patients seen per day, catering to all ages. The successful candidate will benefit from a flexible schedule and will have the opportunity to join an established clinic with mentorship available. The position also includes supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with a monthly stipend. Responsibilities
- Take over an established patient panel in Waynesville, NC.
- Provide outpatient care to patients of all ages.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and manage their monthly stipend.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
- Participate in mentorship opportunities within the clinic.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
- Active medical license in North Carolina or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in a primary care setting is preferred.
