About the position

Mansfield Family Practice is seeking a motivated Family Medicine Physician to join their independent practice in Storrs, CT. The practice has been established for nearly 50 years and offers a modern facility where physicians can manage their own schedules and see a diverse range of family medicine patients. The role involves providing outpatient care, occasional visits to a local skilled nursing facility, and making house calls when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients.
• Manage patient schedules and see between 13-22 patients per day based on personal preferences.
• Utilize state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Records for patient documentation.
• Occasionally visit patients in a local skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
• Make house calls when warranted.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
• Valid medical license to practice in Connecticut.
• Experience in outpatient family medicine.
