About the position

This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at an urgent care clinic that serves patients of all ages. The role involves providing care in a fast-paced environment with a patient volume of 3-4 patients per hour. The NP will work alongside a Medical Assistant (MA) and is expected to have a minimum of two years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Medical Assistant and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using eClinicalWorks.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia (VA) Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
