About the position
The Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant at Fast Pace Health is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and empowerment, aiming to improve healthcare delivery in rural communities through various services. The ideal candidate will lead clinic staff, ensure patient satisfaction, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care.
- Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Implement clinical protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, and wound care.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as Urgent Care, ER, or Family Medical Practice.
- Masters Degree in Nursing.
- Family Nurse Practitioner License or Physicians Assistant License.
Nice-to-haves
- Proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
