About the position
The Family Nurse Practitioner at Fast Pace Health is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and encouraging environment. This role involves leading clinic staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing clinical protocols while focusing on patient education and community service. The ideal candidate will be committed to teamwork and quality care, contributing to the company's mission of improving healthcare delivery in rural communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Implement clinical protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, and wound care.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as Urgent Care or Family Medical Practice.
- Masters Degree in Nursing.
- Family Nurse Practitioner License.
