About the position
GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a part-time Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner to provide house call services in North Manhattan, Bronx, and Queens, NY. The role involves delivering primary care to patients in their homes, requiring a minimum of one year of experience in primary care and a valid NY State License. The position offers a competitive salary and flexible scheduling, with the potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
- Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Monitor and operate medical equipment.
- Diagnose health issues.
- Administer medicine and other treatments.
- Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Consult with healthcare professionals and families.
- Train patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
Requirements
- Must have an active NY State License.
- Must be Board Certified.
- At least 1 year experience in Primary Care.
- Open to new graduates willing to commit to a 3-year term.
