About the position
The Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages in a primary care setting. The position is located in Madison, Florida, approximately 50 miles from Tallahassee, and offers a supportive environment for new graduates. The Nurse Practitioner will work Monday through Friday, with minimal on-call responsibilities, and will utilize electronic health records (EHR) for patient management.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
- Manage patient care including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and patient management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.
Requirements
- Must be a certified Nurse Practitioner with a valid license to practice in Florida.
- Experience in primary care is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to manage a patient load of 18-20 patients per day.
