About the position
The position is for a Nurse Practitioner (either Adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner) at a multispecialty medical practice focused on delivering efficient and high-quality care to patients. The role involves diagnosing, managing, and providing medical services in a primary care setting, collaborating with a healthcare team to create patient care plans.
Responsibilities
- Caring for, diagnosing, and managing patients in a primary care setting.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team in diagnosing and creating care plans for patients.
- Providing medical services related to specialty in accordance with established protocols and under physician supervision.
- Taking and recording or reviewing and interpreting medical and social history.
- Performing physical examinations.
- Obtaining material for appropriate laboratory analysis.
- Making diagnoses and prescribing therapeutic regimens.
- Screening walk-in patients to assess the need for immediate care or referral to other health providers.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required.
- Spanish speaking required.
- Open to new graduates.
- Must have friendly and professional skills.
- Excellent patient/customer skills.
