Responsibilities

• Maintain enrolled families in Head Start centers according to Head Start Standards and Ohio Department of Education regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start Standards and BCESC policies and procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between parents and staff.
• Link families with appropriate community social service and health service agencies for direct services.
• Maintain the health and safety of children.
• Provide active supervision of students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1 year of prior social service experience with families.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record.
• Daily access to a private insured vehicle during working hours.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer skills appropriate to the position.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking preferred.
• History of good job attendance.
• Undergraduate field practicum experience acceptable.
