About the position

The Family Support Supervisor at Public Strategies Inc. is responsible for overseeing the Family Support team within the Family Expectations Program. This role focuses on ensuring effective service delivery that aligns with program, organizational, and funder goals. The supervisor will manage a team of Family Support Coaches, monitor case management processes, and utilize data to drive improvements and report progress.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop Family Support Coaches (FSCs) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to address challenges and share best practices.
  • Provide guidance on complex cases and assist FSCs in overcoming obstacles.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient initial assessments/intakes and enrollments.
  • Oversee the structured case management process, including follow-ups and service plan adjustments.
  • Support FSCs in connecting families with community resources and referrals.
  • Reinforce communication concepts and skills taught during workshops.
  • Monitor the application of workshop topics on healthy relationships and parenting.
  • Oversee the integration of employment and financial stability services into service plans.
  • Encourage the formation and maintenance of two-parent families through curriculum reinforcement.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff development and training on relevant skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate case management processes for consistency and efficiency.
  • Oversee data collection, documentation, and reporting using proprietary systems.
  • Analyze data to generate reports and track performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to program policies and conduct regular audits of case documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Family and Child Studies, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supervision and team leadership.
  • Direct experience providing case management and conducting assessments.
  • Experience with data management systems and reporting.

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and case management techniques.
