About the position

The Family Treatment Court Coordinator is responsible for directing the coordination of Silver Bow County Family Treatment Court cases in District Court. This role involves case management, program planning, treatment planning, and advocacy work. The coordinator administers the program, prepares program materials, develops programs, and engages in public speaking to raise community awareness. The position requires collaboration with treatment teams and maintaining treatment court files, as well as managing budgets and organizing meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Pay treatment team bills and submit reimbursement forms to Court Administration.
  • Manage the Treatment Court Checking Account.
  • Compile and submit client information to treatment team members.
  • Keep records of treatment team meetings and court sessions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with treatment providers, social workers, and clients to create court treatment plans.
  • Coordinate the agenda for foundation board meetings, acting as chief resource for that committee.
  • Supervise clients and establish daily UA provision schedule, reporting results to the treatment team.
  • Work with the treatment team to establish and implement policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate multi-agency services and collaborate with treatment providers to meet treatment court objectives.
  • Maintain positive public relations and provide information for community awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience with adult substance abuse offenders, conflict resolution, and domestic relations.
  • Experience working with multi-agency systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive interviews and prepare findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and professionals.
  • Current Montana driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Knowledge of social work principles, methods, and practices.
