Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of the youth during transportation and visitation with biological family.
• Transports youth to and from designated locations for visits, ensuring punctuality.
• Supervises visits to ensure safety and that conversations remain positive and appropriate.
• Observes and assesses behaviors of all parties during visits, providing guidance as needed.
• Maintains and organizes documentation of each supervised visit and transportation.
• Communicates with appropriate staff regarding issues that arise during visits.
• Develops working relationships with youth and their families to facilitate constructive interactions.
• Identifies when to intervene during visits to redirect inappropriate behavior.
• Responds on short notice to substitute for visits or transport children as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience in human services.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed).
• Must meet auto insurance requirements and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check.
• Availability for on-call support.
