Responsibilities

  • Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns and needs, building rapport to make them feel heard and cared for.
  • Provide essential support in navigating customer inquiries and explaining solutions in simple terms.
  • Discover solutions using tools and resources to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Handle difficult calls regarding service interruptions, such as electricity shut-offs, and manage escalated service issues.
  • Empathize with customers and resolve concerns to simplify their experience.
  • Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service call center experience required.
  • Self-driven with the ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge are essential.
  • Open availability between 10:00am-7:00pm Central Standard Time, with variable training hours.
  • Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette are necessary.
  • Customer-focused personality with motivation to achieve goals.
  • Must pass a background check including credit review and assessments during training.
